If You Are Distracted, Your Clients Will Know

Don't let other people or things distract you while speaking with a caller. When you pick up the phone while you're eating, writing an email or reading a text message, don't kid yourself the person on the other end knows they don't have your full attention.

Before answering the phone put down other distractions; this is not the time to multi-task. Why risk the chance of making your clients (the livelihood of your business) feel like they don't matter?

By giving the people you're talking with your undivided attention you let them know that their call is important to you and your company.
